Welcome to Classic Organic
Nature’s true tastes and fresh-picked nutrition are available daily at the Classic Organic Farm and Produce Stand, owned and operated by Helmut Klauer, a classic organic farmer.
A variety of lettuces, tomatoes, watermelons, strawberries, cucumbers, winter and summer squash, peppers, fennel, spinach, asparagus, onions, garlic and pumpkins are just a sampling of the many crops grown in season. Kitchen herbs, Homestead Orchard fruit and organically produced eggs are also available.

What’s New
Helmut and Kathryn recently opened a deliciously inviting roadside stand on historic country road that runs through the farm. There, hard-by an old barn embellished with a classic Peace Sign, they are selling direct - on the Honor system.

Our Philosophy
Helmut has farmed organically since 1971. He holds fast to the original parameters of organic farming, rejecting the USDA’s “new” definition of organic, which allows methods which classic organic farmers would never employ.
Future plans include Ladybug Acres, offering school tours, family activities, and barnyard animals freely grazing on the rolling hills surrounding the farm, as well as The Farmer’s Wife, offering classic farm products, gardening and decorative items, with internet access to related products and information.
